Wildflowers Dancing in the Wind

October 23,1986, me writes:

"in the woman's breath
I hear weariness, I hear desperation
I hear hope, I hear a knowing
that tomarrow will bring a new day
that things will grow and years will pass
I hear many things"

"the wind whistles in my ear
mostly it grumbles"

Bethany Kenner answers:

"where's my head?
bound?  ha!
on fire yes
but never bound
and never one
just a wild dance
a hurricane
at the right time
wow i love evil wild dances
i love evil wildflowers too"

me responds:

"a wildflower dances in the wind
there is nothing else, only
the dance
entrancing, tossing a little madly
in the gray twilight
the wildflower does not listen
to the grass
the voices of a thosand other worlds
make no sound: a wildflower hears only the wind
and
the woman's breath"

"whatever I have they can not take it away from me"
