a few select poems from me, a part-time wordsmith

Elaine Elaine

Elaine Elaine
oh what a shame
for those retarded bastards who laughed at your name

The person they missed out to know
for in your heart something bright and beautiful did grow
taller and stronger than the garden you plant today
through career changes you've found your way
to become a woman who smiles at fear
enduring high stress levels from mother dear

Canoe you down, did you, the stream of life
Through difficulty, hardship, and of course, ug, strife
never one to stay content or satisfied with your lot
You dared to be the flower that sprang from its pot

Thusly when your multimedia job ran drier
On a whim you took a flier
"A massage therapist will I be!"
"For scratching their backs, people must pay me!"

Highest in your anatomy class did you score
"I love this stuff... send me more!"
What a breeze this is, compared to the air force
"Move me up a notch, I want the advanced course!"

So smile and be happy and schedule our next session
My body needs your astute touch, lets practice your lesson
I can't afford your bill, but sing for you I will
A customized song for you, be sure I'll make it a thrill!
Thrilling like an ice cube placed onto my back
That is one trick, please, you can leave in the hat!
